Where do I put the phone?
You do not put it down — you stick it up. On a padel court a suction-cup mount on the glass back wall is the standard answer: the phone sits flat against the glass, looks down the length of the court, and is out of everyone's way. A mount costs a few tenners and fits any court.
Somewhere between hip and chest height gives the most watchable picture: high enough to see over the net, low enough not to cut players off. Landscape catches the full width of the court, portrait follows a single player better.
Wipe the glass where the suction cup goes. Dust and damp are the only reason a mount lets go halfway through a set.

How long should a padel clip be?
Twenty seconds covers most rallies from serve to winner. Thirty seconds is safer for long defensive points and for the celebration afterwards, which is often the part people actually want.
Ten seconds is enough if you only want the finish — the smash, the bandeja, the point that ended it.
Do I have to walk off court to save a clip?
