Where do I put the phone in a sports hall?

On the sideline at halfway gives you the most usable picture: you see both baskets, the build-up and the finish. If you want to follow one player, stand behind the basket their team attacks — that is where they fill the frame most often.

Height helps more than it does outdoors. A stand, even three rows up, lifts the backs of the substitutes out of your shot and gives you a view across the whole court. If the phone has to sit at floor level, place it so the sideline stays clear and nobody walks into it.

Which clip length suits basketball?

Twenty seconds is the obvious choice, because the shot clock runs to twenty-four. Almost every possession fits inside it, from the first pass to the score.

Ten seconds is what you use when you only want the finish: the dunk, the three, the block. It is also the setting that lets you tap most often without filling your phone. Thirty is for the rare long possession with several rebounds, or when you want the reaction from the bench as well.

How do I share clips with the team?

Tag each clip with who is in it. The free tier supports two players; Pro takes that to eight, enough for a starting five plus subs. Then you filter a session by player and everyone gets their own moments.

That saves most of the work. The usual approach is dumping twenty clips into the team chat and hoping everyone finds theirs; in practice nobody scrolls past the first three. One clip sent to one player does get watched.
